Gethsemane - A look at the importance of friends

Matthew 26:36-46 -   Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples,  “Sit here while I go and pray over there.”   37  And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed.  38  Then He said to them,  “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane It was his hour of greatest anguish. He knew he had only a few more hours before he had to take the death walk to Calvary – to pay for the sins of the whole world. It is said He began to be extremely sorrowful and deeply distressed. (This is a good point for us who think that sorrow is not from the Lord…or who stress too much on the joy of the Lord…) How did he choose to spend it - He chose to spend it in prayer, yes.
